Over the past several years, Jennifer Jacobus has represented taxpayers all over the state of New Jersey in connection with property tax appeals before the State Tax Court as well as the County Boards of Taxation. This extensive experience has established Jacobus Law as a trusted legal partner for property tax matters.
Who We Are
Jennifer R. Jacobus, Esq. is the Managing Member of Jacobus & Associates, LLC. Ms. Jacobus graduated magna cum laude from Washington University in 1996 and cum laude from Boston University School of Law in 1999. Ms. Jacobus is originally from Cherry Hill, NJ and currently resides with her family in Morris Plains, NJ. She has been practicing general litigation in New Jersey for over 15 years.
Over the past several years, Jennifer has represented both taxpayers and municipalities all over the State of New Jersey (including Atlantic County, Bergen County, Burlington County, Camden County, Essex County, Mercer County, Middlesex County, Monmouth County, Morris County, Ocean County, Passaic County, Salem County, Somerset County, Sussex County, Union County, and Warren County) in connection with property tax appeals before the Tax Court of New Jersey as well as the New Jersey County Boards of Taxation.
Before starting her own practice exclusively handling residential and commercial taxpayer appeals, Jennifer spent several years representing both taxpayers and municipalities in connection with property tax appeals. Jennifer often works in coordination with realtors, accountants and associations to offer educational seminars about the property tax appeal process.
